Sourdough Bread and Bagels

Join us for an immersive and interactive experience that will elevate your sourdough making skills to new heights! Learn the art of crafting delicious and wholesome organic sourdough bread and bagels from scratch, while discovering the secrets behind creating the perfect crust and achieving ideal crumb texture.

This hands-on class is your introduction to mastering the age-old tradition of sourdough baking.  Enroll now for $100 and embark on a journey of flavour and craftsmanship that will leave you with a lifelong love for creating your very own artisanal masterpieces.
The next class will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 3:00 pm  (1 SPOT LEFT) at our Farmhouse and Marie's Sourdough Bakery at The Elmbrook Farm in Picton and will take approximately 3 hours.  Another class will be held on Wednesday May 1st at 4:30 pm.

The class includes a glass of wine, cider or mocktail, along with a delectable charcuterie board of local treats.  If you are interested in joining one of these classes you can register here - noting your pick up date to attend.  If you can’t make it and want to join a future class  - send a note below.

Intermediate Class

Baguettes and County Farmhouse Sourdough

If you have some experience baking with sourdough and want to up your game to create something new - here is your chance to learn how to make sourdough baguettes and our very own County Farmhouse loaf.  Our quaint and cozy farmhouse offers a personal hands-on experience making baguettes from scratch as you roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of traditional breadmaking with Marie's tips and tricks for perfecting your creations at home.  This is not a beginner class.
Enjoy a glass of wine, cocktail, mocktail or similar with a nice spread of charcuterie treats while you master the art of this challenging type of sourdough.
